![]() I also hate typing on a cell phone and trying to remove the thumbnail image so it doesn't show twice but I am not seeing an option for it Reminds me of an old super 8 film splicer I have. ![]() I also like that it's more or less the film traveling in a straight line rather than through a number of sprocket wheels. Hoping it truly captures the full frame with no cropping. So when this comes in I can do some compare work. In the past I have done my own conversions and then later sent them out. It claims to be able to scan at two frames per second and is lit by a white led. A similar device by a company called wolverine only captures at 720.Įither way I took a gamble and ordered the scanner. This device is half the price ($499.00) as the Reflecta but may have its own pros and cons. A number of months ago they were selling the infamous Reflecta though they no longer carry it. Received a catalog the other day from HS and they have an interesting 8mm/super 8 film scanner (to MP4).
